Hello and g'day to everyone here. I don't know what last I posted, and I haven't been on in a LONG while. I'm not coming back really. Just swinging in to let people know that I'm not yet dead. :3


Also to let you all know: I'm arranging for a beach party.

Currently things are set into motion for TWO rather large parties (not cons) set for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The first one is going to be on Father's Day Weekend, from June 18-21. The second one is going to be from July 9-12.

This is NOT your typical gathering. Its more of a big party/get-together. There's no hotels. No dealers room. Not artist alley. No guests of honor per-se. But its entirely FREE to show up and hang out. The constituency for attending is this: You must invite at least 2 other people who haven't already received invites.

The gathering will be held ON the SHORE. Outdoors on the beach. So any 'artist alley' is more likely to just be a gathering of artists sand-sculpting in one particular area of the beach. If you want a hotel for the weekend, I'm working on getting information about decent hotels in the 'furry friendly' areas close to the water.

There's no designated hotel, or any truly 'designated' area on the coastline, or a specific area for generally hanging out. We are going to be able to keep this party AS FREE AS POSSIBLE. The area on the beach we'll be meeting on (which more info regarding specifics will be posted about as it comes in) allows for bumming on the beach.

And that's really about it so far. I'm panning on pitching in food for the crowd that shows up. I've got enough for about 700 blokes or so who enjoy hotdogs. Going to be grilling on the bonfires they have along the shoreline. ^.___.^ We encourage folks to bring things like TWISTER, or instruments if they play any; we've been working on pulling together a few furry bands to play for free. So yeah ^..^
